About the role
- Prepare and oversee annual district business plans, including key business drivers, sales forecasts, and promotional budgets.
- Assist Sales Representatives in creating and monitoring annual territory business plans to ensure alignment with district goals.
- Lead and coach Sales Representatives to achieve their sales targets through motivational techniques and regular touchpoints.
- Establish open and consistent communication channels with Sales Representatives, sharing competitive insights, coaching tips, and best practices.
- Organise and conduct motivational District Meetings bi-annually or as needed.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales, other District Business Managers, and cross-functional partners to coordinate activities and share information.
- Represent the company at conferences, symposiums, and lectures.
Requirements
- A university degree in science, business, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales (medical device experience is acceptable).
- 2–3 years of people management/leadership experience.
- A proven track record of sales success and the ability to manage change.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and relationships across functions.
- Availability to travel 30% of the time.
