About the role
- Lead the Molecular Data & AI engineering team
- Drive the technical quality and reproducibility of prediction models
- Collaborate with skilled colleagues in ML Research and Data Science
- Shape a team consisting of ML Engineers, Data Engineers and MLOps SW engineers
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and translate scientific needs into engineering projects
- Responsible for vendor management ensuring consultant and vendor deliverables meet expectations
- Participate in the Data & AI Engineering leadership team
Requirements
- Master’s degree in IT management, Bioinformatics, Computer science management or similar
- Experience driving proven impact in data science or machine learning environment in an industry enterprise setting
- Experience in delivering engineering products that accelerate business timelines
- Strong grasp of cloud technologies and open-source technologies for ML development
- Strong stakeholder management skills and people management skills
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is an advantage, but candidates with relevant academic backgrounds are also considered
- Fluent in English
