About the role
- Perform and complete internal credit audits as assigned
- Research and interpret relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
- Evaluate effectiveness of credit policies and procedures, identify weaknesses
- Keep track of and update schedule of whereabouts during audits
- Assist in developing the scope, audit objectives, and audit program based on assessed risk
- Prepare meeting materials and present findings to department manager and auditors
- Produce various audit reports/management letters/credit reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
- 5 - 6 years credit review/business related experience required
- 3 - 5 years bank auditing experience preferred
- 3 - 5 years general business-related experience preferred
- Ability to apply advanced financial analysis techniques
- Ability to interpret data and statistics
- Proven analytical skills
