Develop efficient and effective proposal execution plans in response to solicitations from U.S. Government and other customers
Compile cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with RFQ/RFP specifications
Collaborate with core teams (Contracts, Pricing, Program, etc.) to develop, review, and submit proposals
Identify and investigate impediments, analyze alternatives, resolve root causes/bottlenecks, and follow through on actions
Compile, analyze, and present proposal-related data
Coordinate proposal kick-off meetings, fact-finding meetings and other adhoc meetings to drive adherence to schedule and monitor risk
Support Customer-facing teams with customer requests, negotiations, and reworks of submitted proposals
Perform comprehensive review of all elements of cost including direct labor, material, Other Direct Cost and indirect costs to ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and Northrop Grumman procedures
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience (Level 3)
Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience (Level 4)
Proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Excellent oral and written communication skills, and a keen attention to detail
US Citizenship
Experience with proposal development, cost estimating & pricing, or various contract types, such as FFP and T&M (preferred)
Knowledge and understanding of the U.S. Government’s acquisition process including federal procurement regulations (FAR/DFAR) (preferred)
Experience with U.S. Marine systems related customers (preferred)
Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
