About the role
- Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems
- Analyses performed at all levels of total system product: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
- Ensures logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
- Works as part of Northrop Grumman’s Strategic Deterrent Systems Division (SDSD)
Requirements
- Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution
- Be majoring in or having majored in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
- Preferred: Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher
- Preferred: Current active Secret Security Clearance or higher
- CLEARANCE TYPE: Secret
