About the role
- Internship at Northrop Grumman’s DefenseSystems Sector within the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division (SDSD)
- Learn new skills, explore the enterprise, and work on revolutionary systems impacting global security
- Participate in projects, training, and networking with experts and thought leaders
- Work full-time (40 hours/week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026
- Collaborate with teams across air, cyber, land, sea and space areas and contribute to technical work under supervision
- Receive support through training and Employee Resource Groups
Requirements
- Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2026
- Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
- Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
- U.S. Citizenship required for positions with a government clearance
- Preferred: Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher
- Preferred: Current active Secret Security Clearance or higher
