About the role
- Internship at Northrop Grumman to learn new skills, explore the enterprise, network with experts, and connect with thought leaders
- Support engineering work as part of Northrop Grumman’s Strategic Deterrent Systems Division (SDSD) at the DefenseSystems Sector in Roy, UT
- Work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026
- Participate in training and employee resource groups and complete assigned intern projects
- Assist engineering teams with tasks and contribute to program objectives while adhering to security clearance requirements
Requirements
- Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2026
- Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
- Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
- Current active Secret Security Clearance or higher (preferred)
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher (preferred)
- U.S. Citizenship required for positions with a government clearance
