About the role
- Join Northrop Grumman’s Strategic Deterrent Systems Division (SDSD) as an engineering intern in Huntsville, AL
- Support parts, materials, and process engineering activities within the Defense Systems Sector
- Participate in projects that impact national security and strategic deterrent systems
- Receive training, mentorship, and networking opportunities with subject-matter experts and thought leaders
- Work full-time (40 hours/week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026 and contribute to engineering tasks, documentation, and program support
Requirements
- Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2026
- Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
- Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
- Preferred: Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher
- Preferred: Current active Secret Security Clearance or higher
