About the role
- Participate in an Electrical Engineer intern role at Northrop Grumman’s Strategic Deterrent Systems Division (SDSD) in Manhattan Beach, CA
- Work full-time (40 hours/week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026 on assigned engineering tasks and projects
- Learn new skills, explore the enterprise, and network with experts and thought leaders
- Receive training and support from employee resource groups while contributing to SDSD projects
- Build professional experience and résumé through hands-on engineering internship work
Requirements
- Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2026
- Be majoring in or having majored in a Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering degree
- Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
- CLEARANCE TYPE: Secret
- Preferred: Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application)
