Provide professional administrative, budgeting, research, writing, and editorial support for the Vice President and senior leaders
Manage the Vice President’s calendar, screen calls, schedule meetings, and organize business travel
Draft correspondence, briefings, memos, and other documents, and proofread documents when requested
Prepare itinerary and event information
Track the community benefits program, including processing all invoices
Assist with managing operational budget of the Department
Assist in maintaining department website and social media networks
Attend off-hour meetings and events, including Community Task Force meetings
Plan, manage, and execute event logistics, timelines, and budgets
Collaborate with local organizations and community partners
Assist the Vice President and senior leaders on community and research projects as they arise
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
2-4 years of prior experience in an administrative position
demonstrated experience in a dynamic and challenging work environment
accomplished writing and editing skills required
proficiency in interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
must be proficient at social media
strong administrative and computing skills
ability to understand complex material to communicate effectively
demonstrate sound judgment with confidential information/issues
ability to work independently and be flexible
