About the role

  • The Maintenance Manager reports to the Plant Manager and is responsible for the Safety of all maintenance team members and the efficient operation of all manufacturing equipment, buildings and grounds.
  • The Maintenance Manager is responsible for executing capital projects on time and within budget and preserving the overall health of all assets within the facility.
  • The Maintenance Manager is part of the plant Lead Team and is expected to be a strategic partner to the Plant Manager.
  • Oversee safe, high‑quality, and cost‑effective maintenance work, including routine PMs, predictive reliability programs, emergency response, and facility/grounds upkeep.
  • Reduce unplanned downtime by supporting planned work preparation and collaborating to improve equipment performance and eliminate recurring failures.
  • Ensure compliance with state water‑discharge requirements and maintain all necessary environmental and operational standards.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing maintenance team, setting clear goals/KPIs and supporting continuous skill development.
  • Manage maintenance budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and legal requirements.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, and HR to execute maintenance strategies, drive process improvements, and support people development.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across departments to enhance plant reliability, operations, and safety culture

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Industrial or Mechanical Maintenance experience. (required)
  • 3+ years of Leadership experience. (required)
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Engineering Degree or combination of technical school and experience (required)
