Energetic, results-driven Sales Manager to manage a defined sales territory in Eastern Europe, driving growth and customer relationships
Manage Eastern European countries (Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia) to generate revenue, volume, margins and manage days outstanding
Implement and execute the NORIT EMEA Sales Execution Framework
Develop volume and revenue forecasts, sales plans and strategies
Build customer and portfolio profitability understanding to differentiate NORIT
Negotiate complex sales contracts and collaborate with Application Specialists to present product features and benefits
Provide commercial support, coordinating with internal stakeholders and production sites (~30% of time)
Identify new market opportunities and target builds; maintain accurate budget and forecast information
Lead indirect channel/distribution management and customer service excellence
Consistently use Salesforce.com and maintain up-to-date Sales Funnel using ComStrat, Balance of Power and ENS negotiation preparation documents
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or biochemistry
Around 5 years of external sales experience within the chemical or food & beverage industry (previous experience of selling activated carbon is an advantage)
Ability to effectively engage in verbal and written communications that are timely, direct, concise, clear and relevant, and delivered with appropriate style and tone
Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for achieving results
Experience with channel partners/distribution management is an advantage
Ability to drive sales proactively with the ability to quickly identify opportunities, enter new markets, and deliver impactful results
Excellent verbal and written English skills are essential; proficiency in German is a strong advantage.
