  • Activate your potential – join NORIT, the world leader in activated carbon production!
  • Energetic, results-driven Sales Manager to manage a defined sales territory in Eastern Europe, driving growth and customer relationships
  • Manage Eastern European countries (Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia) to generate revenue, volume, margins and manage days outstanding
  • Implement and execute the NORIT EMEA Sales Execution Framework
  • Develop volume and revenue forecasts, sales plans and strategies
  • Build customer and portfolio profitability understanding to differentiate NORIT
  • Negotiate complex sales contracts and collaborate with Application Specialists to present product features and benefits
  • Provide commercial support, coordinating with internal stakeholders and production sites (~30% of time)
  • Identify new market opportunities and target builds; maintain accurate budget and forecast information
  • Lead indirect channel/distribution management and customer service excellence
  • Consistently use Salesforce.com and maintain up-to-date Sales Funnel using ComStrat, Balance of Power and ENS negotiation preparation documents

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or biochemistry
  • Around 5 years of external sales experience within the chemical or food & beverage industry (previous experience of selling activated carbon is an advantage)
  • Ability to effectively engage in verbal and written communications that are timely, direct, concise, clear and relevant, and delivered with appropriate style and tone
  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for achieving results
  • Experience with channel partners/distribution management is an advantage
  • Ability to drive sales proactively with the ability to quickly identify opportunities, enter new markets, and deliver impactful results
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills are essential; proficiency in German is a strong advantage.
