About the role

  • The Fixed Networks Customer Engineering team works with sales, business development, product management, and R&D to provide Professional Services, New Product Introduction trials, and support to Fixed Networks customers in North America

Requirements

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science and at least 5 years of practical work experience in Systems Engineering.
  • Experience configuring, provisioning or troubleshooting Access Technologies (XGS-PON, SDAN) using CLI or GUI on the devices.
  • Solid communication and technical presentation skills with the ability to influence engineers, customers and executives to become advocates of Nokia products and solutions.
  • Strong knowledge in Access Technologies (GPON, XGS, 25G, Layer2)
  • Next Gen Element Management Systems such as Nokia's Altiplano
  • SDAN / NETCONF / YANG
  • Experience in testing, automation, and rollout activities.
  • It would be nice if you also had:
  • Knowledge in Layer3, MPLS, and ERPS
  • IPTV video and SIP voice service delivery
  • Network engineering and network design
