About the role
- Join Nokia’s UX Design and Development team focused on the Nokia Design System
- Produce sketches, storyboards, wireframes, visual mock-ups, and prototypes to communicate user experiences
- Translate business and user requirements into simple, meaningful design solutions
- Collaborate with product managers, UX peers, and developers to align design with user and business goals
- Discuss and refine prototypes with stakeholders to ensure high-quality implementation
- Work closely with UX designers and researchers to synthesize and apply feedback
- Virtual/remote role for Canada (Jan - Apr, 2026, 4+ months)
Requirements
- Strong interaction design skills to define and communicate design solutions
- Proficiency with Figma, Miro, and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Excellent communication, reasoning, and collaboration skills
- Experience using or building a Design System (preferred)
- Solid foundation in user-centered design principles (preferred)
- Ability to conduct user research (preferred)
- Currently a candidate for a Master’s, Bachelor’s degree, or Diploma in User Experience Design or a related field with an accredited school in Canada
