About the role
- Assist in the development and implementation of food and beverage policies, procedures, and standards.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the resort's four dining outlets, including restaurants, bars, and any other food and beverage venues.
- Collaborate with chefs, restaurant managers, and other staff to maintain high-quality food and service standards.
- Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by maintaining service standards, addressing guest concerns, and continually seeking ways to enhance the overall dining experience.
- Monitor and evaluate guest feedback and implement improvements as necessary.
- Supervise and provide leadership to food and beverage staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food and beverage items in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and enforce health and safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct regular inspections of dining outlets to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to quality standards.
- Hire, train and direct new associates and assist in associate terminations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field, required.
- Seven or more years of experience in food and beverage management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in a resort or luxury hotel setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in recruiting, training, and developing staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness.
- Professional appearance and presentation required.
- Knowledge of and skill in using computer software, including MS Word/Excel/Outlook, POS.
