About the role

  • Identify and onboard high-quality suppliers that align with category standards
  • Conduct in-person and virtual meetings to communicate marketplace value propositions clearly and drive strong engagement with our platform
  • Build deep, consultative relationships with suppliers and serve as their day-to-day point of contact for growth, performance, and issue resolution
  • Proactively support supplier needs, escalating and coordinating internally with tech, operations, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless experience
  • Use data to assess supplier performance, identify growth opportunities, and provide actionable feedback on selection, pricing, availability, and quality metrics
  • Drive suppliers to meet revenue targets by optimizing product assortment, pricing strategies, and inventory levels
  • Work closely with suppliers to maintain high-quality standards, proactively reducing return rates and customer complaints through ongoing quality monitoring and guidance
  • Partner closely with category management, product, operations, and product marketing teams to align on category objectives, supplier priorities, and buyer engagement initiatives
  • Support the development and delivery of training resources to help suppliers adopt best practices for product listing optimization, quality control, and performance improvement

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within B2B marketplaces, wholesale, or e-commerce
  • Strong relationship builder with the confidence and credibility to manage senior supplier stakeholders in person
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into clear commercial actions
  • Customer-centric and quality-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership for supplier outcomes
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset and comfort operating autonomously in a field-based role
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in B2B marketplaces, luxury goods, jewelry, or tech-enabled marketplaces
  • Familiarity with supply chain, wholesale, or inventory-led businesses
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through partner or supplier relationships
