About the role
- Oversee the gas major projects portfolio, tracking and meeting project performance requirements.
- Develop and drive strategic contract opportunities with leadership team.
- Conducts evaluation of individual department and overall NiSource maturity levels and makes recommendations for improvements.
- Acts as an internal subject matter expert on changes to industry key performance indicators and trends.
- Orchestrates implementation of project management processes, tools, techniques, associated roles and responsibilities, and competency improvement.
- Responsible for development and maintenance of a project management excellence site.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of project management experience in utilities
- Portfolio Management Professional (PMP)
- Integrated comprehension and application of project management subsidiary guidelines, standards, processes, and job aids
- Integrated proficiency in risk and quality management tools and techniques
