About the role
- Prospect, identify and vet agency opportunities across the United States
- Build relationships with agents, brokers and key decision makers
- Develop and execute plans to achieve production goals and accelerate Nirvana’s growth
- Help agents and insureds understand the value of our unique safety tools
- Collaborate with product and underwriting to drive profitable growth
- Collaborate with engineering to iterate on product offerings
- Travel as necessary
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance, preference for commercial auto and/or transportation
- 3+ years of field sales and/or program marketing experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Bias-to-action and owner mentality
- Ability to work in high-growth and ambiguous start-up environments
- Strong collaboration skills with distributed teams
- Existing professional network among transportation agents/brokers is a plus
