About the role
- Own the full pre-sales technical experience for enterprise accounts—guiding prospects through evaluation, product demos, architecture design, and proof-of-concept stages.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Sales Leadership to drive growth and align technical value to business goals.
- Partner with onboarding and Customer Success teams to accelerate time-to-value and ensure long-term adoption success.
- Build and maintain reusable technical assets including lab environments, demo flows, battlecards, and scripts to support a scalable AE-to-SE model.
- Help shape the future of the Enterprise SE function as a founding member of the team, contributing to playbooks, processes, and cross-functional alignment.
Requirements
- 10+ years in a pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting role supporting enterprise B2B SaaS customers.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and endpoint protections.
- Experience with Salesforce, Jira, Highspot, or equivalent systems is required.
- Scripting experience in PowerShell, JavaScript, &/or VBScript is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Technical certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+, cloud architecture) are a plus.
