About the role

  • Architect and deploy solutions across on-premises, Microsoft Azure, and hybrid environments.
  • Administer and optimize Hyper-V platforms for scalability and efficiency.
  • Manage Windows and Linux server environments, including physical hardware and virtualized systems.
  • Implement and support SCCM for OS deployment, patching, and endpoint lifecycle management.
  • Operate and enhance SCVMM for provisioning and lifecycle management of virtual machines.
  • Collaborate with global teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly.
  • Proactively monitor infrastructure components to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain high availability and disaster recovery readiness through robust planning and testing.
  • Develop scripts and leverage Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., PowerShell) to automate routine tasks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Apply a business-oriented mindset to infrastructure decisions, ensuring cost-efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering roles.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Hyper-V, SCCM, and SCVMM.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration.
  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell) and automation tools.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a global team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and business acumen.
