About the role

  • Lead the Applied Technologies business lines across North and South America
  • Achieve results as per Business Unit market objectives and financial targets
  • Embrace the Group's vision and develop a customer value and customer care-driven culture
  • Support and promote the Group’s core values
  • Develop the business within your region, in full cooperation with your partners
  • Promote and sell the full range of equipment within your Business Unit
  • Ensure the full and detailed utilization of Salesforce (CRM)
  • Nurture and strengthen customer relationship and loyalty
  • Report all market information related to technology, economy, regulations, competition, etc.
  • Ensure regular Business Review Meetings with valuable information to support profitable growth
  • Responsible for local training of staff
  • Manage distributors, partners, and agents in assigned territory
  • Manage specific market segments and customers via Key Account Specialists
  • Focus on price management to maximize profit levels
  • Equip the team with necessary tools to perform their job efficiently
  • Establish goals and KPI for sales per region/per product
  • Plan routine visits to major customers
  • Oversee daily operations of the team, providing leadership and support
  • Proactively identify and follow up on customer problems to ensure satisfaction

Requirements

  • Engineering degree required
  • Business degree in addition is a plus
  • Minimum 10 years in international business environment
  • Industrial Gas Process Plant experience is desirable
  • Proven track record in sales development and key account and territory management
  • Combination of product knowledge and business knowledge
  • Fluency in English language is a must; Spanish and Portuguese language is preferred
  • Team player / team builder
