About the role
- Assist NCS Controller to manage all accounting and finance activities for NCS entities in North America.
- Assist with the month-end closing tasks, general ledger accounting, including the reconciliation of Inter-company balances.
- Prepare and submit the data into the OneStream consolidation program for NCS North America Canada entity.
- Assist NCS Controller to prepare the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, working with the Departmental, Product and Sales Managers in North America.
- Manage AP, prepare cash payment forecasts.
- Manage and monitor sales tax and property tax in each service center.
- Work with the internal and external auditors to provide the required data and explanation.
- Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and JSOX internal control requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years’ experience required, preferably in a manufacturing environment with 2+ years business experience in costing and financial planning and analysis.
- Familiarity with the use of MAS 500 ERP system to conduct research and analysis.
- Strong working knowledge of general accounting principles (GAAP)
- Experience and familiarity with clean energy businesses and after-market business including spares, exchanges, repairs and field service is a plus.
- Accounting background and experience, preferably with full-cycle accounting
- Exposure to international financial accounting is highly desirable.
