About the role

  • Optimize Nike product sales by developing accurate and realistic seasonal assortments, forecasts, and scenario plans.
  • Solicit and submit orders; ensure timely coordination of order tracking, retail release and launch information, order confirmation, cancellations/Return-To-Stock summaries and delivery of information.
  • Increase sell-in and sell-through by preparing, planning and delivering clear and persuasive merchandising and product presentations.
  • Create, lead, and coordinate seasonal business plans to maximize NIKE’s business.
  • Be a thought partner to the Director, NA Partners Soccer Specialty and lead cross functional projects that drive the business forward.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years' overall business experience that includes field sales, retail buying, merchandising, sales business planning, or sales business analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in the soccer industry in retail or sales; or Nike field support experience
  • Strong understanding of Team Sales across Club/Grassroots and Institutional channels
  • Knowledge of the competitive market, customer, and retail trends
  • Passion for soccer, ideally an enthusiast and participant
  • Ability to communicate moderately complex information, to varied audiences who are not familiar with the subject matter.
  • Acts as a resource to teammates.
  • Completes work independently with review at critical points; requires guidance only on complex issues
  • Independently utilizes knowledge, skills, and abilities to identify areas of opportunity, resolve complex problems & navigate solutions.
  • Ability to prepare, plan and deliver clear and persuasive presentations
  • Ability to use financial data to make decisions and maximize account profitability
  • Experience developing seasonal assortments, forecasts, and scenario plans
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lift and carry samples up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Must be located in or around the New Jersey area.
