Machine Learning Engineer

• Identify and prioritize ML opportunities in collaboration with product, engineering, data analytics, and business stakeholders (first focus: Recommendations and matching students with the right schools)
• Lead end-to-end development of ML models: data collection, feature engineering, algorithm selection, training, tuning, and validation
• Develop production-grade code and systems to deploy, serve, and monitor ML models at scale and integrate models into Niche’s products and internal systems
• Define key performance metrics, establish robust monitoring frameworks, analyze model performance in production, and drive continuous improvement through iteration and experimentation
• Clearly communicate complex ML concepts, model behaviors, and results to technical and non-technical audiences and champion ML across the organization
• Establish ML development best practices, coding standards, and documentation; mentor and guide other ML engineers as the function grows
• Stay abreast of latest advancements in ML, data science, and MLOps and evaluate/adopt relevant technologies
• Deliver milestones across timeframes: learn platform and shape roadmap (first month); deploy first production model with monitoring and feedback loops (within 3 months); introduce scalable MLOps and mentor others (within 6 months); lead multi-product ML efforts, develop internal tooling, and help grow the team (within 12 months)

Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Product Designer

• Lead and inspire two teams of product designers working across multiple pods in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Shape design strategy both on and off platform, including SEO, lifecycle email, SMS, etc.
• Deeply understand how we package and sell the leads the Core Business pod helps generate; bring internal tools to life with the Shared Platform pod that make our customer-facing teams more effective at generating revenue
• Ensure that our efforts across teams fit together to invent and deliver coherent product experiences, from design system details, to workflows, all the way up to mental models
• Mentor and grow your reports, get hands-on as needed, providing the expertise, direction, and support needed for high performance and major impact
• Establish strong partnerships with Product and Engineering teams, foster joint ownership and effective collaboration, and work closely with our partners in GTM
• Contribute to the product strategy and roadmap, create the design vision for your domain, advocate for user outcomes and a world-class user experience
• Travel for in-person collaboration sessions and team building events 2-4 times per year (bonus)
• Short-term milestones: learn company and teams; assess design systems and team capabilities; lead first major design initiative within 3 months; implement new design processes and practices; within 6-12 months shape AI-first product experiences, establish design system improvements, and drive measurable impact on engagement, lead generation, conversion, and partner success

Senior Manager, Product Design

Sales Development Rep

• Book new business demos via phone, email, and AI-assisted outreach by hitting or exceeding benchmark KPIs (30 dials/day, 25 personalized emails/day, LinkedIn connections)
• Own your book of business (hundreds of higher ed institutions) through quarterly outreach and leverage your higher education experience to build trust with these school leaders
• Introduce schools to Niche’s full enrollment marketing platform (Direct Admissions, Engage, Market Intelligence)
• Drive adoption of bundled offerings
• Research prospects and craft personalized messaging using Sales Enablement platforms
• Track activity and results in Salesforce, Gong, and other tools
• Complete onboarding to learn about Niche, our solutions, and our customers; participate in sales training, role plays, and messaging practice
• Partner with Account Executives to refine process and strategy and help convert appointments into revenue
• Contribute feedback on messaging and market trends and share ideas to improve process and AI-driven outreach
• Step up as a peer leader and resource for newer SDRs, with potential growth to Senior SDR

• Hire, coach, and manage a team of Account Managers
• Provide ongoing feedback and direction through 1:1s, Gong reviews, and deal-level support
• Create a high-performance, competitive culture grounded in accountability and development
• Set and hold team members accountable to clear expectations, recognize wins, and course-correct as needed
• Design scalable role definitions, promotion paths, and succession planning
• Define pipeline generation and progression standards; audit consistently
• Support reps in account planning, segmentation, and prioritization
• Ensure your team builds and maintains sufficient pipeline to hit quarterly targets
• Hold AMs accountable to goals with rigor and support
• Stay close to deals—support reps at key points, help unblock challenges, and model strong sales execution
• Act as executive sponsor with strategic clients when needed
