About the role
- Provide leadership, oversight and strategic direction to regional operations including implementation of programs, services, policies and guidelines.
- Take a proactive approach to developing and maintaining strong and productive relationships within CAREERS as well as with external stakeholders and strategic partners.
- Develop and oversee programs and ensure organizational goals are met or exceeded.
- Participate in the preparation and administration of the approved annual budget.
- Manage human resources for the region.
- Provide input and consultation to the Director, Operations on strategic and operational matters.
- Monitor the quality and impact of programs in the region.
Requirements
- Experience as a leader in a non-profit, community development, social development, or other related role.
- Post-secondary education is required (apprenticeship, college, or university).
- A valid Alberta driver’s license and an incident free criminal record and child welfare checks required.
- Excellent technical skills in Office 365 and databases.
