About the role
- Lead the Secure Design team of Security by Design Architects across European countries
- Ensure centralized and coordinated definition and cost estimation of security requirements for Business and IT Projects at design stage
- Integrate security requirements into Projects and manage Security Project delivery for the Group CISO Area
- Develop, coordinate, and enforce procedures and productivity standards
- Contribute to Group-level Security by Design & Delivery strategy development and execution
- Manage team day-to-day: communicate job expectations; plan, monitor, and appraise job results
- Define team objectives, evaluate trends and options, choose course of action, and evaluate outcomes
- Support strategic team objectives by gathering business, financial, service, and operations information
- Manage team financial objectives: forecasting requirements, preparing annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions
Requirements
- University degree, preferred in IT domain
- Excellent command of English and Italian language (both written and spoken)
- 5+ years of leadership experience, including 2+ years in similar positions
- Excellent leadership and management skills in an international and multi-cultural environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with concurrent activities, changing priorities and strict deadlines
- Excellent understanding of information security principles and practices
- Excellent understanding of security technologies, frameworks, architecture and engineering principles
- Basic understanding of EU privacy and personal data protection principles
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills, including reporting for different audiences
- Highly analytical thinking with attention to details
- Innovative problem solving skills with ability to generate concrete and applicable solutions
- Understanding of highly regulated environments, ideally in financial sector (e.g. PCI, GDPR, NIS, DORA)
- Excellent skills in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation applications
- Relevant security certifications considered a plus
- Customer centricity, interpersonal and relationship skills, influencing and negotiation skills
