About the role

  • Achieve and exceed delegate sales targets across a range of conferences and awards.
  • Proactively reach out to prospects via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
  • Build strong relationships with senior-level professionals and decision-makers.
  • Understand client needs and match them with relevant event opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and pipelines using our CRM system.
  • Research new leads, track market trends, and share insights with the wider team.
  • Work closely with marketing, sponsorship, and event teams to align sales activity with campaign messaging and event goals.

Requirements

  • It's desirable that you have at least 1 years experience in delegate sales for B2B conferences or events.
  • Essential that you have a minimum of 2 years experience in an outbound B2B environment making 50-100+ outbound calls per day.
  • A proven record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with senior executives.
  • Confidence in negotiation and closing multi-event deals.
  • Great organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Constant Contact, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
  • A proactive, resilient attitude; you take ownership and make things happen.
  • Familiarity with digital and social selling techniques (especially LinkedIn).
