About the role
- Own the strategy for the early careers attraction campaign, ensuring alignment with business objectives and post-campaign data analysis.
- Monitor campaign performance against KPIs and put solutions in place where necessary.
- Provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders on campaign progress.
- Assist with the execution of diversity attraction strategies on campus.
- Manage relationships with key target universities to strengthen brand presence.
- Determine tiering strategy based on business needs and market insights.
- Plan, coordinate and book campus events and other attraction activities.
- Assist in the planning of all recruitment activities including careers fairs, presentations and campus events.
- Represent Newton at Recruitment events, promoting excellence within the recruitment team.
- Support the delivery of our offer holder engagement activities.
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with key suppliers - e.g. Newton’s stash providers, logistics providers and various research and job board providers.
- Monitor the implementation and testing of changes made to the use of these suppliers each year, mitigating the risk of any delays.
- Understand the requirements that the Early Careers team has of its suppliers and identify cases where these aren’t fully being met.
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in early careers recruitment, attraction and/or marketing, ideally within professional services.
- Understanding of the EC attraction market and have experience of working with universities / colleges / schools to promote opportunities.
- Experience either direct or indirect/informal line management (ideal but not essential)
- A high calibre individual, with drive and eagerness for personal development.
- Strong organisational, programme and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Thrive on early responsibility and be self-motivated and driven to success.
- An analytical mind to solve the challenges of recruitment.
- Strong, effective communication skills which allow you to excite a candidate and inspire confidence in key stakeholders.
- A positive attitude, and the desire and drive to make things better, is essential to fit into the Newton culture.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a collaborative approach.
- Self-aware, with the willingness to receive and act on feedback.
