About the role
- Identify and win new business by proactively reaching out to potential clients across your region using cold calling and outbound sales techniques
- Work to clear financial targets and KPIs, consistently striving to exceed monthly revenue goals and performance benchmarks
- Manage and grow existing client accounts, providing ongoing support, identifying upsell opportunities, and increasing client spend through strategic recommendations
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, using a consultative approach to move prospects through the sales cycle
- Build long-term relationships with clients by providing expert advice, excellent service, and ongoing support
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and campaign delivery for new clients
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and LOCALiQ’s evolving product suite to maintain a competitive edge
- Represent LOCALiQ with professionalism and credibility, acting as a trusted ambassador for our regional news brands
Requirements
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Experience in outbound calling
- Confident in securing new business over the phone
- Able to grow and nurture existing client accounts
- Delivers exceptional customer service
- A consultative, client-focused approach to selling
- Proven B2B sales experience (advantageous)
- Understanding of multimedia advertising (advantageous)
- Able to commute to the office
