About the role
- Record assigned journal entries; tasks assigned as part of the monthly accounting close
- Record daily cash transactions with reconciliation to the corresponding bank statement
- Prepare month-end balance sheet account reconciliations in accordance with corporate policy and procedure
- Research reconciling items as required
- Participate in the preparation of financial footnotes or other financial reports
- Assist with projects, compliance, and other accounting functions as needed
- Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- 0-3 years accounting experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- SQL and Workday a plus
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a smartphone that meets Company security standards with ability to install apps such as Okta Verify and Microsoft Authenticator
