About the role

  • Lead and manage distribution operations, including warehouse, fleet, and facility maintenance
  • Coordinate personnel, equipment, and resources to optimize operational productivity and warehouse labor efficiency
  • Oversee order management, storage, and shipping activities to meet operational objectives
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and career pathing for distribution personnel
  • Ensure compliance with safety programs, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company policies
  • Drive improvement projects and participate in cross-functional teams utilizing Newell’s PEAK continuous improvement program
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to hourly and salaried associates
  • Promote positive employee relations and resolve issues effectively
  • Administer attendance, payroll, and other HR-related policies
  • Analyze and report on operational metrics, customer compliance, and cost of failure activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business, Supervision, Distribution, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years in a leadership role within a Distribution environment
  • Project management experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
  • Proficient in PkMS, SAP, Workforce
  • Ability to coach, teach, and develop staff
