About the role
- Support the Store Manager in executing roles and responsibilities to deliver exceptional employee and guest experience
- Assist in building a high-performing team that represents our Newell Brand Values
- Help meet and maintain staffing goals, including seasonal staffing
- Ensure effective onboarding and ongoing development of team members
- Recognize and address HR-related situations through performance management
- Create a store environment focused on delivering exceptional guest experience
- Maximize sales potential by implementing company selling strategies
- Drive guest loyalty through Rewards Loyalty program
- Maintain store appearance and effective planning
- Assist in analyzing the business and creating clear action plans
- Support inventory management activities and control expenses
Requirements
- High School completion or equivalent GED
- Proven experience in a retail management role (2+ years preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in retail software and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical skills
- Solution-oriented
- Must be able to work in fragrance-filled environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
