About the role
- Accountability for the safety, performance, and direct supervision of the hourly associates
- Plan manpower assignments and ensure execution of production schedules
- Confirms all required documentation and computer entries are completed accurately
- Provide employees in manufacturing with continuous coaching
- Performs follow-up checks during the shift
- Provide for safety and security of employees and company property
- Handle all day-to-day supervisory responsibilities
- Responsible for meeting all company and department KPI’s
- Ensure product quality and that all manufacturing activities follow applicable quality procedures
- Identify, document, and implement procedures to reduce costs
Requirements
- 3-5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience with SAP management software systems
- Ability to achieve results through teamwork
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite software
- Continuous Improvement background
