About the role
- Strategic Leadership: Refine and champion a long-term ESG roadmap that aligns with New Relic’s core business goals, chairing governance meetings to ensure global accountability across environmental and social initiatives.
- Data Integrity & Disclosure: Lead the end-to-end collection and validation of ESG metrics, managing the production of annual disclosures and ensuring our reporting meets the high standards of frameworks like SASB, TCFD, and CDP.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams ranging from Product (Cloud Infrastructure) to Finance and HR to embed sustainable practices into our value chain and daily operations.
- Regulatory & Risk Oversight: Monitor the global landscape for evolving ESG regulations, performing gap analyses and implementing mitigation strategies to keep the organization compliant and ahead of industry benchmarks.
Requirements
- Extensive ESG Experience: Significant professional experience in ESG, sustainability, or corporate social responsibility, with substantive experience operating at a senior lead or principal level.
- Program Management Mastery: A proven track record of designing and executing complex, global programs within a corporate environment.
- Framework Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks and standards, such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and EcoVadis.
- SaaS Proficiency: Hands-on experience utilizing SaaS-based ESG reporting and data management tools to streamline disclosure processes.
