About the role

  • Responsible for Engineering Information Architecture team assignments, monitors progress, provides guidance and support to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of internal software programs within Engineering Business Systems including complete documentation of the program development and process.
  • Identifies and implements process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency, remove redundancies and increase work standardization within the team to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Oversees the development and maintenance of Engineering SharePoint sites.
  • Oversees and participates in the development and maintenance of Engineering PowerBi reports using data from Oracle, Teamcenter, Snowflake and other Engineering applications.
  • Mentors and supports team member development and growth
  • As a hands-on leader works closely with team members in the development and implementation of new processes and Engineering applications.
  • Supports system upgrades, and modifications, to ensure continuity of data integrity, optimal use of system functionality, and training of affected personnel.
  • Investigate areas of opportunity to leverage AI for standard work.

Requirements

  • Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science
  • 5 years’ experience in data analysis/report development and programming
  • Extensive comprehension of Oracle, Visual Basic, Visual Studio, SQL, Power Query. Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Experience in PowerBi and SharePoint design/development. Experience with integrating AI into daily business applications
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office accounts (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
