About the role

  • Under the supervision of the Director of Member Programs and Intersectionality Initiatives, and in collaboration with the ARAISA Project Lead, the Project Manager conducts in-depth analyses and mapping of community organizations, with a focus on equity-seeking populations in the Atlantic provinces.
  • This role involves assessing organizational resources and needs, building relationships, and documenting findings.
  • The incumbent also contributes to member engagement initiatives, coordinates meetings, and supports skills development efforts.
  • Collaborate on outreach visits: work with the Director of Member Programs and Intersectionality Initiatives and the member engagement team to organize two annual membership visits.
  • Actively engage with ethnocultural organizations and PANDC community members to strengthen connections and address their needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience conducting environmental analyses and organizational mapping is required.
  • Strong understanding of equity-seeking populations and grassroots community organizations.
  • A degree in social sciences, business/administration, research studies, or a related field is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are required.
  • Demonstrated exceptional organizational skills.
  • Flexible, resourceful, and willing to take on new tasks.
  • Able to take initiative and work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and research tools and methodologies is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
