About the role
- Find, attend, and engage with people at networking events on a regular and consistent basis
- Proactively research new potential target accounts, identify key players, generate interest and engage with potential customers.
- Conduct outbound activities (including email campaigns, cold calls, and outreach via social media) to prospect, educate, and develop target accounts.
- Comfortable making 50+ cold calls per day.
- Identify, construct, and maintain an ongoing pipeline of qualified leads.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers at targeted sources, including C-Suite level stakeholders.
- Perform discovery to deeply understand your target customers' business challenges and how to position Network Right as the solution.
- Act as the subject matter expert on Network Right’s suite of product offerings.
- Leverage tools such as Apollo, Sales Navigator, HubSpot to build your book of business.
- Build the blueprint for scaling the BDR function at Network Right.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working in sales, sales development, or business development - ideally in a fast-paced & dynamic startup environment.
- Experience with lead generation and prospecting.
- You love to network, connect with people both in person and digitally, and build lasting business relationships built on integrity and honesty.
- You love walking into a room full of people you don't know.
- You enjoy speaking to groups, leading meetings and giving presentations.
- Not afraid to be scrappy and think outside of the box to find new clients.
- Comfortable with visiting potential client sites in San Francisco.
- Ability to develop and implement strategies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
- Experience with CRM systems.
- BA/BS degree in business or marketing preferred.
- Experience working with multiple types of services (MSP/VAR/SaaS/B2B, etc.) preferred.
- IT services/solutions sales experience and knowledge is a plus.
- Customer-service oriented with strong communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Curious, self-starter, collaborative, and adaptable in an ever-changing field.
