About the role
- Provide functional leadership for a team of up to 10 colleagues
- Ensure duty scheduling (5x8 and 7x24 on-call coverage)
- Act as the central point of contact for the customer
- Responsible for meeting SLAs and KPIs
- Lead monthly service reviews and present status reports
- Serve as the escalation point for major incidents
- Oversee the transition of new services into steady-state operations
- Ensure documentation and playbooks/runbooks are kept up to date
Requirements
- Willingness to undergo security screening Ü2 (SÜ2)
- Business-fluent German and English
- Several years of experience in IT Service Management (ITIL)
- Experience providing functional leadership for operational teams
- Strong technical understanding of Kubernetes (K8s), container technologies, and API architectures
- Experience with cloud infrastructures (e.g., OpenStack, Gardener) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Proficient with ticketing systems and reporting tools
