Design and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to drive efficiency and accuracy in compliance with US GAAP
Understand end-to-end workflows and proactively identify gaps and opportunities for process improvement in the areas of fixed assets and intercompany accounting
Support the monthly financial close, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis of financial results for management reporting
Partner with Financial Applications and Finance Engineering teams to enhance systems, automate workflows, and improve data quality
Develop strong cross-functional relationships with stakeholders, including FP&A, Project Controls, FPO, Tax, FinTech, and other business partners
Represent Operations Accounting in cross-functional initiatives and system implementations
Perform ad hoc analyses and support new initiatives aligned with organizational priorities

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or equivalent preferred
4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including a combination of public accounting and private industry experience; technology or media industry experience strongly preferred
Experience with multi-currency and intercompany accounting
Experience in fixed asset accounting, including ASC 360
Experience partnering with finance systems, engineering, or internal product teams to improve reporting and processes
Advanced proficiency in Excel; Google Sheets experience a plus
Experience with large, cloud-based ERP systems; Workday experience preferred
