About the role
- Lead day-to-day operations at Sendero Ranch to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for all guests and programs
- Partner closely with Leadership Programs, Corporate Events, Security & Safety, EHS, and other cross-functional teams to plan and execute multi-day leadership retreats and other events
- Oversee logistics for ranch programs, including travel coordination, transportation, room assignments, activities, and operational agendas
- Develop, maintain, and iterate operational playbooks for ranch operations, including event and venue operations, front desk/guest services, janitorial, and food & beverage
- Proactively identify and resolve operational issues, troubleshooting challenges in real time to protect the guest experience
- Lead and develop a hybrid team of on-site staff, remote planners, and third-party providers to deliver best-in-class hospitality and service
- Manage key vendor relationships (e.g., housekeeping, F&B, transportation, maintenance, activities), including performance, service levels, and alignment with Netflix culture
- Serve as a primary on-site point of contact for Leadership Programs and other internal partners, ensuring operational plans align with program goals
- Build strong relationships with Netflix business leaders and program facilitators to understand their needs and translate them into operational solutions
- Champion a high-touch, personalized guest experience that reflects Netflix’s culture and values
- Oversee the day-to-day condition and readiness of ranch facilities, including lodging, meeting spaces, outdoor areas, and support spaces
- Manage operational budgets for Sendero Ranch in partnership with UCAN Venues leadership, including forecasting, tracking, and identifying efficiencies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in hospitality, retreat/venue operations, or event operations
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing vendors, ideally in a hybrid model of full-time staff and third-party providers
- Experience with facility operations and maintenance coordination, including in seasonally challenging conditions
- Proven ability to plan and execute complex, multi-day programs or events, ideally for executive or high-touch audiences
- Experience developing and managing operational budgets, including tracking spend and identifying efficiencies
- Strong organization and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various levels of the organization and with diverse stakeholders
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment; able to think strategically while remaining highly hands-on
- Positive, team-oriented, and client-focused approach; willing to roll up your sleeves and dive into the details
- Proficient with Google Workspace; experience with other hospitality or operations systems is a plus
- Ability to live and work in a remote, rural environment and to work a flexible schedule based on program needs, including evenings and some weekends.
