About the role
- Partner closely with engineering and product teams to identify strategic inventions
- Oversee the patent portfolio and conduct patentability assessments
- Manage outside counsel for patent applications and litigation
- Collaborate with innovation teams and marketing to align patent policy
Requirements
- At least 10 years’ experience in intellectual property law
- Strong background in SaaS and in software patenting
- Strong personal communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong work ethics and self-starter
- Flexibility in working hours in a global enterprise
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Ability to prioritize effectively and execute quickly
