About the role

  • Engage in and enhance the lifecycle of cloud services from design through deployment, operation, and refinement
  • Maintain these services by measuring and monitoring their availability, latency, and overall system health
  • Administer cloud-based environments supporting SaaS/IaaS offerings implemented on microservices and container-based architecture (Kubernetes)
  • Oversee a portfolio of customer-centric cloud services ensuring availability, performance, and security
  • Collaborate closely with NetApp and cloud service provider teams globally
  • Document system knowledge, create runbooks, and ensure accessibility of critical system information
  • Stay updated with security protocols, diagnose, and resolve complex security issues
  • Identify automation opportunities to achieve efficiency and risk reduction

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix and CORE OS
  • Demonstrated experience in scripting and infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible, Python, Go or Ruby
  • Deep working knowledge of Containers, Kubernetes, and Serverless computing implementation
  • Familiarity with distributed systems design patterns using tools such as Kubernetes
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to embrace challenges
  • Experience with incident response and troubleshooting complex production incidents
