About the role
- Build simulation models and analyze data to support project management activities
- Introduce new products and processes from ideation through first plant production
- Support preparation and implementation of factory CAPEX projects
- Design and develop manufacturing products and processes from small-scale to commercial operation
- Support development of the solid dose technology roadmap for NHSc
- Analyze existing equipment and recommend modifications for process optimization
- Support process development and manage planning and execution per project brief
- Collaborate with project team members and communicate project status via technical documentation and presentations
- Prepare/review PFDs, P&IDs, and project-specific specifications
- Perform process calculations such as heat & mass balances and utility sizing
- Provide technical assistance remotely or on site, recommend process improvements, and participate in supplier due diligence and factory validations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of Process Engineering experience in solid dose factory environment or similar
- Previous experience working on Oral Solid Dose facility projects
- Experience in incorporating safety in the process/equipment design
- Project Management experience in a Food Manufacturing facility
- Experience in tablet compression, encapsulation, dry mixing, and coating processes
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, simulation software, and process modelling tools
- Good understanding of Technology, Regulatory, Quality and Safety Requirements for Oral Solid Dose Manufacturing
- Knowledge of equipment standards and selection for granulation, tableting presses, coaters, and capsule filling machines
- Ability to prepare/review PFDs and P&IDs and perform process calculations (heat & mass balance, utility sizing)
