About the role
- Develop and implement strategic Account Business Plans, forecasts, and budgets to optimize trade spending through effective analysis of chain and store-level data
- Collaborate with Territory Managers and various Cross Functional roles
- Manage assigned Key Accounts, utilizing customer portals for new listings and ensuring brand presence in planograms while collaborating with stakeholders
- Negotiate chain-level activities and purchases, leveraging available tools for value-based selling and identifying quantified sales opportunities through customer mapping
- Adapt to various social styles for mutually beneficial outcomes, ensuring adherence to company policies, financial compliance, and Good Manufacturing Practices
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of successful Sales and Account Management experience with a proven track record in major Retailers, Grocery and Consumer Packaging Goods (CPG) industries
- Post secondary education in Business, any related field or equivalent experience
- Experience managing trade spend
- Experience working with various customer portals
- Background or understanding of health and wellness, nutrition, or supplements is an asset
- Effective communication, negotiation and strong leadership skills are required to express analytics and deliver presentations to various levels within the organization and externally to customers
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Valid full driver’s license and safe driving record is required
- Demonstrates creativity and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results-driven attitude
