About the role
- Ensuring product availability across all relevant channels
- Planning and achieving monthly and yearly sales targets, including setting targets for each distributor
- Monitoring distributor overhead expenses and profitability (ROI)
- Managing distribution setup and leading secondary sales force deployment
- Implementing trade and consumer activations, merchandising and visibility programs
- Ensuring distributor compliance with company-defined roles, processes and responsibilities
- Ensuring accurate execution of sales, discount and trading terms
- Training and developing the secondary sales force
- Conducting performance evaluations of secondary sales personnel
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- 1–5 years of field sales experience in FMCG/FMCD
- Strong understanding of channel sales and distribution management
- Ability to develop and maintain strong trade and distributor relationships
- Proven experience in achieving business targets and driving execution
- Good command over communication, analytics and problem-solving
- Ability to lead and motivate secondary sales teams in dynamic environments
