About the role
- Collaborating and ensuring product knowledge by in person and phone communication.
- Sell incremental volume for displays and obtain maximum support for promoted products.
- Sell additional products based on opportunities observed.
- Collaborates with targeted customers to create and execute business reviews that drive volume.
- Leads expenditure of financial resources in a fiscally responsible manner.
- Insure Payment Collection from customers in the proper overdue time.
- Ensures compliance to pricing guidelines at retail level.
- Reports competitive price changes and promotional support and resolves competitive pricing issues.
- Identify and correct voids and ensure new items are available.
- Merchandise products to obtain schematic compliance, rotate products, handle unsellable product and resolve systemic problems related to out-of-stocks and voids.
- Develops and maintains proper relations with department/store level personnel within area in order to maximize sales results.
- Communicates market insights from the retail level to management.
Requirements
- Must have excellent customer service and organizational skills, as well as attention to detail.
- Must possess strong communication (oral and written), selling and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word/Outlook) and other POS systems.
- Ability to analyze financial, inventory, retail conditions and other data to utilize appropriate selling techniques.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Must be willing and able to travel.
