About the role
- Lead development and implementation of global EHS standards for Neogen
- Establish global EHS framework and audit programs
- Develop and audit Serious Injury & Fatality programs
- Standardize global emergency preparedness and business continuity programs
- Create and manage global EHS processes, tools, and training programs
- Act as liaison between internal and external stakeholders
- Implement robust risk management strategies
- Streamline EHS processes and foster a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an EHS related field or in a non-EHS field with EHS certification (CSP, CIH, NEBOSH)
- 10+ years of experience in Biotech, Pharmaceutical, Chemical or related industry
- Technical experience in Process Safety, Combustible Dust and SIF programs within manufacturing operations
- Master’s degree in Environment, Health and Safety (preferred)
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt (preferred)
- Proficiency in Process Safety Management risk assessment methodologies (e.g., HAZOP, LOPA, PHA, FMEA)
