About the role
- Serve as program lead responsible and accountable for planning, development and delivery of new programs
- Coordinate among cross-functional internal and external resources to ensure programs are within scope, budget and schedule
- Understand program scope, product and business requirements and the budget process
- Participate in planning program milestones and drive alignment to milestones
- Maintain program plans and records; identify and schedule all work required to fulfill scope
- Identify and manage critical path tasks and program risks; develop mitigation strategies
- Review program plans with senior staff for conformance to strategy and communicate program status
- Track and manage program schedules and task details; ensure program plan review and approvals
- Analyze actual performance against plan and make adjustments consistent with objectives
- Document major plan changes and communicate updates on milestones and issues to stakeholders
- Manage proposed changes to program parameters and escalate issues as needed
- Serve as liaison with Divisional and Regional market resources for deployment readiness
- Monitor quality of program deliverables and assist in deployment strategies and tools for field implementation
- Deliver on commitments while exercising independent and collaborative judgment and discretion
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Comcast may consider applicants with a combination of coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience
- 2-5 Years relevant work experience
- Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance
- Program management experience coordinating cross-functional internal and external resources
- Experience with planning, scheduling, and maintaining program plans and records
- Experience identifying and managing critical path tasks, program risks and mitigation strategies
- Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills
- Experience with deployment strategies, trials and controlled customer deployments
- Ability to escalate and resolve issues and work with senior staff members
