About the role
- Manage the complete life cycle of straight-forward to moderately complex projects, including approval, planning, execution and closeout
- Develop budgets, timelines and ensure progress-to-plan, tracking critical project achievements
- Work with vendors and team to establish and achieve goals and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Use formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes
- Develop, maintain and manage detailed project plans, action item registers and major milestone timelines
- Coordinate resources and vendors and maintain communication with stakeholders
- Provide status reports to Project Managers, vendors, stakeholders and resources and facilitate project meetings
- Address problems through risk management and contingency planning and present solutions/options to executive management
- Support Comcast Business' Federal Government and/or Carrier Services in project capacity
Requirements
- Telecom/Ethernet experience
- 5 years of Project Management
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or combination of coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience
- Relevant Work Experience 2-5 Years
- Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
