About the role
- Design and build infrastructure and tooling to provide high scalability, reliability, and sub-second performance levels using industry best practices.
- Writing code and scripts to support Infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management, and automated incident resolution.
- Support and extend the observability stack to capture and alert on any system issues.
- Writing systems documentation, troubleshooting playbooks, and other instruction manuals.
- Get hands-on experience building, operating, and optimizing infrastructure and observability systems in a high-concurrency and low-latency environment.
- Collaborate with experts to optimize and extend infrastructure and observability solutions.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
- Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2026- Spring 2028)
- Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2026 semester before graduating)
- Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program starting June 1, 2026, through August 14, 2026
- Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
- Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)
- Knowledge and some experience working with Linux, cloud, or containers
- Knowledge and some experience with coding in higher-level languages, such as Python, Java, or C++
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong verbal / written communication skills
